Here at Foodism, we love to chow down, but we also try to be conscious of how we impact our environment. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Love Food, Hate Waste to bring you the best of both worlds.

On Sunday, October 20th, we’re hosting a brunch at St. Lawrence Market Kitchen where guests will enjoy a delicious midday meal and learn more about how to reduce their unnecessary food waste. And we’re giving you the chance to win tickets for you and a friend to be there.

Start with a pick-me-up coffee, then sip on fresh smoothies and enjoy food from the St. Lawrence Market vendors.

At the pickling station, our guest chef will lead a workshop on this age-old preservation technique. Learn how to pickle vegetables that would otherwise be destined to end up as food waste, then take home your canned creation at the end of the day.

During a Q&A session, you’ll be able to ask any questions you have about saving on groceries, getting the most out of your produce and reducing food waste.

Guests must be 19 years of age or over to enter the contest.

The winner must be able to attend the Love Food Hate Waste x Foodism Event on Sunday, October 20th at 11am.
Transportation is not provided.

Contest closes October 7th at 23:59pm EST and the winner will be notified by email.
The winner will have 24 hours to claim their prize. If there is no response after 24 hours, a runner-up will be randomly selected.
The prize will be awarded at the discretion of Foodism Toronto and Love Food Hate Waste.
