Winter is finally here for Westeros and so are a new line of wines inspired by the wildly popular HBO show Game of Thrones. The collection of red, chardonnay and cabernet wines made from Californian grapes is set to be released July 12th, just in time for the premiere of GoT's highly anticipated seventh season.

Much like the rich and robust notes of Melisandre’s personality, the red wine is a bold blend of eight varietals including Syrah and Tempranillo – a perfect concentration of dramatic intensity. The elegant white chardonnay on the other hand, proves to be as refined as Daenerys Stormborn, with its pleasant balance of stone fruit sweetness and acidity. And let’s not forget the intense Cabernet Sauvignon, perfectly aligned with our Jon Snow, sourced from the finest winegrowing kingdom (Napa Valley). Its notes of blackcurrant, briar and Tahitian vanilla help create a long and pleasurably smooth finish on the palate.

Either way, whichever you choose, these three wines will pair nicely with the premiere of GoT’s newest season.
