While we always endeavour to try new drinks, we have to build trust with a new product before it becomes our bar cart staple. If we’re entertaining people over the holidays, or simply just fixing a tasty evening beverage for ourselves, we want to be sure we’re pouring a tipple of the highest quality — and with Ramsbury, an impeccable London dry gin distilled with 14 botanicals, we know we’re picking a premium spirit.

Ramsbury isn't your mother's gin. It stands in a league of its own, thanks to a distinctive production process. From growing high-gluten wheat on the Ramsbury estate to sourcing natural spring water from beneath the distillery, every step is rooted in the heart of the estate. It’s an enviable level of control that results in not only an incredible spirit, but also minimal environmental impact — and sustainability is always a big plus in our books.

A bottle of Ramsbury with a cocktail

Every material used to craft Ramsbury London Dry Gin comes directly from the distillery's abundant natural resources. Solar panels harness the sun to power operations, while quince grown in the estate orchard is this gin's signature ingredient. The stills run on energy from sustainably managed woodland, with biomass heating providing power and ashes returned to the land as natural fertilizer. Even the spent grains find purpose, feeding the estate's cows, who in turn enrich the fields with natural fertilization.

There are lots of London dry gins out there, but Ramsbury stands out from the flock, and not just because it was awarded four gold medals in 2024. It’s exceptionally smooth, fresh and as crisp as a brisk fall day. With notes of fresh grapefruit, plenty of spice and orange, it’s excellent neat, or in your favourite cocktail — it’s a spirit for aficionados and new gin drinkers alike.

Add Ramsbury London dry gin to your bar cart in time for all of your hectic holiday entertaining. It's available at the LCBO now.
