Food and wine have long been a magical match. If there’s a place nearby where that pairing reaches its pinnacle, it’s the Twenty Valley wine region. Located just an hour out of Toronto, along the southern shores of Lake Ontario from Grimsby to St. Catharines, Twenty Valley is home to over 50 wineries waiting to be discovered.

Many of Twenty Valley’s wineries are small boutique operations where you’ll be greeted by the winemaker or owner themselves. In between the vines, you’ll also find excellent craft brewers and distilleries, top-notch dining as well as farmers' markets, organic farms, bakeries and artisanal shops in the area.

If you need that extra little nudge to make the trip to Twenty Valley, the upcoming Wrapped Up in the Valley event is just what you’re looking for. Over three weekends in November, guests can enjoy up to a dozen food and wine pairings a day from 20 partnering wineries.

Head to Foreign Affair Winery to enjoy a Wild Mushroom Tartlet with Goat Cheese and Truffle Caramel with their 2016 Dream red blend, while 13th Street Winery will be pouring their Cuvée Rosé alongside a Turkey and Pork Belly Country Terrine with Spiced Cranberry Compote. These are just some of the delicious pairings that will be available during Wrapped Up in the Valley.

Drivers passes are also available with non-alcoholic beverage and food pairings. Or if everyone in your group wants to get in on the fun, book a shuttle pass on Saturdays which includes a comfy ride to eight wineries along with your food and wine pairings at each location. Wining and dining has never been easier.
