Cloud House is an irresistible infusion of premium rum and ultra-premium coffee from Colombia. It's a silky smooth liqueur that's shaping up to be our new favourite holiday hero. Now, we don't have to choose between a festive feeling rum or a cup of coffee. Cloud House combines the best of both worlds in a unique liqueur that's the first of its kind.

The finely crafted rum comes from Colombia's oldest independent, family-owned rum producer. For generations, they've aged their decadent rum in ex-bourbon oak barrels on the Caribbean shore, allowing the salty sea breeze to impart a beautiful salted caramel flavour.

Hidden high amongst the majestic peaks of Colombia’s Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta mountain range is where you'll find the rare, high-altitude coffee plantation, known affectionately as "Cloud House." This isolated, hidden gem is surrounded by independent farms growing 100 per cent Arabica coffee beans. It's here at 7,793 feet above sea level, where the premium coffee beans are grown, harvested by hand once a year and then cold brewed to perfection.

The combination of high altitude and proximity to the Caribbean Sea makes the coffee in this area richer with deeper, more intense flavours. Each bottle of Cloud House contains over 1,000 of these rare Arabica coffee beans.

Rum and coffee liqueur | Cloud House C&T cocktail recipe

Makes 1

Preparation time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Cloud House
  • 3 oz tonic water
  • Orange twist, to garnish

Method

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice.
  2. Add 3 parts tonic water and 1 part Cloud House.
  3. Garnish with an orange twist

Cloudy Martini

Rum and coffee liqueur | Cloud House Cloudy Martini cocktail recipe

Makes 1

Preparation time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Cloud House
  • 1 oz white rum
  • ½ oz espresso
  • 3 coffee beans, to garnish

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Strain into a coupe or martini glass.
  4. Garnish with the coffee beans.

Three Peaks

Makes 1

Preparation time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Cloud House
  • 1 oz Bearface Whisky
  • 1 oz Select Aperitivo
  • Orange slice, to garnish

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to old fashioned glass.
  2. Add as much ice to the glass as possible.
  3. Stir until drink has settled into glass.
  4. Garnish with an orange slice.
