1.5 oz Jarral de Berrio mezcal
0.5 oz Olmeca Altos Plata tequila
0.25 oz raspberry black pepper syrup (equal parts fresh raspberry juice to sugar, with cracked black pepper to taste)
Dash of lime juice
Ginger beer to top


In a cocktail shaker, add the mezcal, tequila, raspberry black pepper syrup and lime juice. Add ice and shake until chilled. Pour into a rocks glass and top with ginger beer and ice. Garnish with a lime wedge, raspberry and a sprig of mint.
