As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, grocery shopping has become an arduous task that requires a fair amount of preparing and planning. Gone are the days of leisurely strolling the aisles, thumbing through different items and snacking on free samples.

It isn’t all bad news though. Vendors at beloved Toronto institution the St. Lawrence Market are making it a little easier to access fresh, local food and grocery items.

The main market is staying open Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. while the Saturday Farmers’ Market is operational from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Many of the market’s food vendors are now offering alternative shopping methods like pickup, delivery and curbside collection with advanced ordering options.
