Don’t let the name mislead you, this versatile pan can do a lot more than fry chicken (although it certainly does a bang-up job of that). Its stainless-steel interior and wide, flat bottom make it great for browning like a traditional fry pan; but its tall sides hold in juices and reduce splatter. This means you can also use it to simmer liquids and sauces as well as deep fry. For the latter, we recommend taking advantage of the splatter screen that comes with the pan. The pan’s stainless steel and aluminium construction promotes even heat distribution, while the flared rim minimizes drippage when you’re pouring and serving.
