Featuring floor to ceiling windows overlooking the restaurant, the 10-seat private dining room is ideal for hosting business meetings and small parties. The larger 32-seat private dining room includes frosted glass doors to separate it from the main dining area. For big bashes, there’s also the option to convert all of the event spaces into one giant party paradise.
Planta’s creative menu is sure to please vegans and omnivores alike, offering plant-based interpretations of classic dishes -- think crab cakes made from hearts of palm and nut cheese platters with almond crackers. The Planta Burger topped with queso, “bacon,” pickles and lemon garlic aioli is a perennial favourite, as are the pizzas made using 00 flour or a gluten-free dough.
Choose a family style menu featuring dishes like coconut ceviche and truffle macaroni; or opt for a plated menu with a starter, appetizer, a choice of mains and dessert, along with shared dishes for the table. Brunch, lunch and dinner options are all available, and menus can be customized to tastes and to accommodate allergies.
Planta’s commitment to plant-based cuisine doesn’t end with food. The restaurant also offers tasty cocktails and mocktails made with cold-pressed juice from Village Juicery. Expect playfully-named beverages like the Beauty & The Beet, made with rum, coconut, lemon, agave nectar and Planta punch. In addition to its regular drinks menu, Planta features a variety of rotating seasonal cocktails each month. Their upcoming holiday menu promises to include plenty of festive beverages.
