Ricky + Olivia, a small plate, all-Ontario wine bar in Leslieville, was already pretty cute. But wine lovers can now rejoice once again as the popular spot on Queen Street East has now launched a Meet the Makers Series, allowing the wine-curious a chance to get up close and personal with Ontario's best producers.
Programming will see Ontario wineries showcasing their wines, with guests able to purchase some of their collection in the bottle shop for one day only. Exclusive wine flights and by-the-glass features are also available, and representatives from each winery will be on-site to share context on their wines. Book your wine tastings in advance to avoid disappointment.
The wine bar has already hosted local producers like Hinterland, but the rest of December will see well-known winemakers like Therianthropy (December 7), Pearl Morissette (December 8), Trail Estate (December 14) and Paradise Grapevine (December 21) welcomed for a one-day-only tasting event.
While you're there, don't miss Ricky + Olivia's A Christmas Story holiday pop-up lounge, where you can enjoy festive, themed tipples. Plus, their bottle shop is full of gift boxes and cocktail kits if you still have Christmas shopping to take care of.
When booking your tasting experience, make sure to select the correct date for each visiting winemaker and book between 2–8 p.m.
