Hounds Black Vodka Quarantini

If you're looking to really mix things up, Hounds Black Vodka – a smooth, Canadian spirit with a striking appearance – is the perfect place to start. Made in Niagara, Ontario, Hounds gets its distinctive colour from humic and fulvic acids, which turn the usually clear spirit a moody pitch black that's great for crafting show-stopping cocktails.

To bring out those vanilla and fruit notes, we're sharing a Hounds Black Quarantini recipe, which uses lemon, sugar and maraschino cherries to offset the sultry sipper.

  • 1 freshly-squeezed lemon
  • 2 oz. Hounds Black Vodka
  • 1 tsp. Maraschino cherry syrup
  • 1 tsp. sugar or simple syrup


Shake the ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass with a sugar rim. Garnish with lemon twist and Maraschino cherries.
