Set in a beautiful, historic building, the four-level space features a main dining room, a snack bar, an event space and an amazing Toronto patio on the roof. It's also one of the best restaurants in Toronto serving Latin cuisine.
Helmed by executive chef Brent Maxwell, Baro offers a mixture of classic and modern Latin fare. All of the dishes and cocktails are designed to transport guests to paradise with bright colours, flavours and ingredients influenced by countries across Central and South America.
On the first floor, the main dining room is outfitted with Latin American-inspired décor and an energetic open kitchen. The buzzy atmosphere sets the stage for an immersive dining experience, enhanced by the rhythmic Latin pulse of the music and romantic, ambient lighting. A celebration of "Nuevo Latino" cuisine, the menu offers an assortment of inventive appetizers, ceviches, large sharing plates and expertly prepared meats, paired with creative cocktails.
Upstairs, the Baro Rooftop is a lush, tropical oasis filled with bright colours, optimal sunlight and tons of greenery. There's an outdoor patio and an area that's fully enclosed in retractable windows for year-round dining. Sip on cocktails and tuck into barbecued dishes, fresh off the Parrilla-Style Argentinian charcoal grill.
Pablo’s Snackhouse is the lounge and snack bar on the second floor, and the perfect place to enjoy more signature cocktails. Hang out here long enough and you might even get invited into the secret, password-protected speakeasy, Escobar.
