This newly-opened boutique hotel at Yonge and Bloor restores the former glamour of the luxury hotel and residence that once occupied the space. Originally opened as the Anndore Hotel and Apartments in the 1950s, the revamped property looks to the hotel’s heyday for design inspiration. The Anndore has a ton of cool techie features like retro Smeg kettles and Crosley record players and vinyl LPs in every room, plus an app that allows guests to check-in, order room service and control in-room lighting and temperature.
The Scarlet Door cafe offers grab-and-go options like coffee and pastries, while Constantine, a stylish Mediterranean restaurant from the team behind La Palma, make the dining options good enough that guests never need to leave.
