It's not often that we get to witness two culinary titans collide. When they do, though, magic is guaranteed to be in the air.
On March 6 and 7, chef Antonio Park (owner of one of the best restaurants in Toronto, AP restaurant) and chef Fran Agudo of the Michelin-starred Mont Bar Barcelona will join forces for an unforgettable tasting experience. If you're a Toronto foodie, this is your Super Bowl.
The 12-course tasting menu, dubbed "The Stars Align," will blend Mont Bar's most iconic dishes with AP's signature Japanese and Pan Asian flavours. To start, eight appetizers are brought out to pique your appetite. From Mont Bar, dishes like chicken and calamari puff pastries, beetroot flower with caviar and sea bass ceviche are elegant and refined; from AP, mini empanadas, wagyu sandos and akami oba tempura are art on a plate.

Then, a cold and a hot main are set to steal the spotlight. Mont Bar's tuna belly is served with a pine nut emulsion, and AP's braised short rib wang mandu will have you duelling over the last dumpling. Cap everything off with a dessert (that we won't spoil!) and a beer pairing.

This epic meal is set at the top of the Manulife Centre, in AP restaurant. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the creative collaboration of two top chefs, all while you gaze out at the unmatched view of Toronto.
Tickets are $175 before tax and gratuity.
