North York is getting a new night market from July 14–16

From Street Eats Market, the team behind multicultural night markets that have been popping up all over the GTA, comes a new addition. On July 14–16, the Yonge North York Night Market is taking over Mel Lastman Square alongside the inaugural Dance on Yonge festival. Live music, dance and (our favourite) street eats are coming together for a three-day feast for the senses.

The hardest part of your weekend will be choosing from more than 60 different street food vendors dishing out over 500 menu items, and featuring a range of different cuisines. Jam out to live music and DJ sets while you fill your belly, then watch live dance performances from Canadian Ballroom Latin Champions, World Breakdance Champions, Canadian Olympic Team representatives and more. If you're feeling brave, join in on the fun with free dance workshops in different dance styles.

The Yonge North York Night Market runs on Friday July 14 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday July 15 from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday July 16 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mel Lastman Square. Admission is free.
