Nothing beats a hot cup of coffee – morning, afternoon or evening. But what if you could take that delicious nectar of the gods and make it even better? Coffee, meet Amarula. Amarula, meet coffee. Exotic, smooth and creamy Amarula combines with dark, rich and steamy coffee for an incomparable pair – talk about a match made in heaven. After a date with Amarula, your coffee will never be the same again.

Best enjoyed as an after-dinner indulgence, Amarula has a luxuriously velvety mouthfeel. Made from the fruit of the sacred Marula tree, that grows wild and free in Africa, each silky sip of Amarula has hints of vanilla and caramel. Aged in French oak barrels for a minimum of two years, the fruit-based liqueur picks up notes of wood spice.

Amarula Cream Liqueur espresso martini recipe

Add Amarula to your favourite coffee – hot or cold brew – for an elevated cup of java that you'll want to savour. A date with Amarula will have you taking  the time to get to know your coffee a little better. A versatile coffee companion, Amarula is at home in any coffee recipe, a number of decadent cocktails and even in a mug of steamy hot chocolate.

More than just a great date, Amarula has legs to stand on its own. Enjoy the creamy liqueur neat or over ice in a stemless glass. Take in the creamy texture and caramel colour before adding one ice cube to chill, swirl and then sip until your heart's content.

Take your home bartending game up a notch and infuse your Amarula with a cube of iced coffee. The day before, freeze any unused coffee in an ice cube tray. When you're ready to indulge in your glass of Amarula, substitute an ice cube with a cube of the frozen coffee. Then, sit back and luxuriate over your iced coffee-infused Amarula as the ice melts.

For a third way to enjoy Amarula, get shaken, not stirred with this classic espresso martini recipe.
