While Creemore is well-known for their lager, Batch is the brewery’s opportunity to explore interesting recipes that you won’t find in the LCBO. The brewpub typically pours six in-house beers at any time, from witbiers to porters and cream ales, along with Creemore's classic lineup and a retail bottle shop. To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Batch is releasing an Irish Red Ale, a complex beer with malty sweetness, balanced with herbal hops and a dry finish from roasted barley.
Along with the new brew, expect giveaways like gift cards and Batch swag along with a DJ spinning Irish tunes all day long.

If you didn’t nab tickets to the St. Patrick's Day brewery crawl hosted by Liberty Commons, you can still partake in festivities at the brewpub proper. They serve up a rotating list of eight Big Rock brews with two seasonal taps to round out the list. Visiting for St. Patrick’s Day is a good excuse to try out their two special pours– a Black IPA and a Plum Baltic Porter – while St. Paddy's-inspired food features and plenty of Irish music will help get you in the spirit.

With their spacious event space in a historic building, the folks at Amsterdam are known for hosting lively throwdowns and St. Patrick’s Day is no exception. In fact, they’ve saved the party for the day after, Saturday the 18th, so that revellers can take advantage of a full day of events. The festivities begin early in the morning with a free pancake breakfast while video DJ battles, a live Irish band, fiddlers and DJs take you into the afternoon and evening.
Along the way, Amsterdam’s lineup of house-brewed beers will keep you satiated. They serve up eight core beers along with four featured taps where brewers get a little more creative, like the Vinifera beer-wine hybrid made with Vidal ice wine from Niagara.

While Mill St. is hosting a Brewmasters Dinner on March 16th, their St. Patrick’s Bash held the evening following is a more informal occasion to let loose. Live music from the Strome-Dankert Duo will amp up the festivities, along with food features like Bangers and Mash which aren’t usually available on the regular menu.
Beer-wise, you’ll be spoilt for choice with 15 Mill St. brews on tap. All of Mill St.’s draught beer runs through copper-encased beer lines that help keep brews cooler and fresher. We suggest going for one of the brewery’s seasonal options like the Minimus Dubbel or Black Watch Scotch Ale but Mill St.’s classic lineup of cans and bottles will be available too.

Mascot Brewery is going all out for St. Patrick’s Day weekend with not one but three events over two days. For craft beer lovers, the Open Cask fest on Friday is the one to hit. Cask beers differ from your regular pours since they’re not carbonated. Instead, they're conditioned in the cask (the vessel they’re served in) for a brew that’s fresh and full of flavour.
Mascot will be bringing in casks from nine local breweries, including Duggan’s, Beau’s and Clifford. Head over from 4pm to 9pm for free samples of the cask brews on offer while drinks specials will continue the festivities into the evening.

The proprietors of Louis Cifer, in Toronto’s east end, know a thing or two about St. Patrick’s Day. They're also behind Cabbagetown’s Stout Irish Pub and they’ve pulled out all the stops for March 17th. Expect live Celtic music and dancers from 9pm and pints of Lucky Charm Lager, which is really just Louis Cifer’s house lager with a bit of festive green dye added in.
If you prefer your beer unadulterated, Louis Cifer has plenty of in-house pours to offer in that regard, like a dry Irish stout or a blonde ale pouring from their main taps alongside more creative offerings from the seasonal lineup like a coconut lemongrass Thai-PA.
